To start we would like to note the following commonalities between all the HAAN products. Steam emits at 212°F or higher from a jet system to effectively clean and sanitize. At this temperature things such as dust mites and bacteria are killed almost instantly. None of the machines require any type of chemicals to be effective at cleaning or sanitizing. Just add tap water and allow for the appropriate heat up time. Also, all the HAAN steamers come with a 1 year warranty.
Floor Sanitizers
If you are looking for a machine that is designed just to sanitize your floors and upholstery items then you want to look at the following machines; FS-20/FS-20+, FS-30/FS-30+, and FS-50/FS-50+. The Floor Sanitizers (FS-# series) have two versions of each model; the only difference amongst them is the versions with the plus have a sanitizing tray for carpet and upholstered items. All of the models have the same water capacity, use time, heat up time, and the compatibility with Ultra-Microfiber Pads (MF Series). The only major change throughout the three Floor Sanitizer versions is the wand that comes with the machine. The FS-20 models feature a telescopic wand that can be adjusted in height. The FS-30 and FS-50 models feature an ergonomic wand that has a fixed S-shape, a more comfortable way to use the machine on the floors. What makes the FS-50 models unique is the design and an easy to fill tank. The hole for filing the tank is centrally located on the machine and is not being partially blocked by the wand system. All of the FS models are compatible with the SH-20 by removing the wand and attaching the accessory. Use the attachment for sanitizing your mattress or any other upholstered surface.
The SI-35 Slim & Light is the only Floor Sanitizer that features a removable water tank and has a lower profile than the FS series. The tank capacity is a little larger which provides you with 30 minutes of constant use. This machine includes a carpet sanitizing tray and uses a slightly wider Ultra-Microfiber pad (RMF Series pad)
Multi-Purpose Machines
When it comes to HAAN, a single machine or combination of several machines can fill many needs. Floor sanitation, counter sanitation, garment steaming and area cleaning are just a few of the things that HAAN can accomplish.
The most versatile HAAN is the MS-30 Multi-Purpose machine and it retails at a great price. This single machine comes with all the accessories to be a floor sanitizer, a garment steamer, and a multipurpose household cleaner. It features a canister design that is both lightweight and compact. Onboard storage of the small attachments makes interchanging the tools very easy and convenient. This machine has a 31’ operation radius, and a water capacity that provides 30 minutes of constant use. A unique feature is the locking trigger; this trigger allows you to control the flow of stream in controlled bursts or constant use.
The HS-20 Steam Cleaner is lightweight, portable and also features several attachments for cleaning and sanitizing. This machine provides a lot of the same features of the MS-30 except for the floor sanitizing capabilities. However, due to the low price of this Hand Sanitizer it can be affordable to combine this machine with one of the HAAN Floor Sanitizers to fill both needs.
The last of the multi-purpose machines is the SV-60; this machine is both a vacuum and a floor sanitizer. The ideal use of this machine is for small item pickup while cleaning/sanitizing the floors. Different trays are attached for different floor types (bare floor/carpet). While this machine will not replace most household, deep cleaning vacuums, it will make cleaning bare floors and low pile carpets faster when you sanitize.
Garment Steamers
HAAN Garment Steamers provide you the capability to de-wrinkle and de-odorize clothes and other fabrics. All the garment steamers feature a telescoping stand with a built in hanger and cross bar for holding the fabrics. They all also include the same accessories such as a crease making tool, a lint brush, and upholstery brush. Where they differ is water capacity, style, and portability.
If you are looking for the biggest capacity amongst the Garment Steamers look no further than the GS-20. It features the largest removable water tank capacity which provides 90 minutes of constant use. For individuals not needing this much use time and enjoy a sleeker look, the GS-30 is ideal. This machine still features a removable water tank that provides 60 minutes of constant use.
The GS-60 is the lightest weight, smallest capacity, and the only HAAN Garment Steamer that is portable. While the water tank is not removable, the entire steamer detaches from the base making this the most portable HAAN Garment Steamer and when its filled with water it still weighs less than 5 pounds. A shoulder strap is included to make carrying the machine while in use easy, and with it weighing less than four pounds it won’t weigh down your shoulder. This machine features a tank that provides 20 minutes of use and a long 18 foot cord.
