Description
With its motorized brushbar the DC23 motorhead will work on all floor types including homes with thicker carpeting and pet hair. The DC23 also compacts as the wand collapses and the hose will wrap around the machine giving it a nice small profile for storage. The DC23 has a five year warranty and a lifetime warranty on the filters.

Other models you will want to consider:
The DC22 Motorhead is lighter, has fingertip controls and the new digital motor. However it costs more.
The DC23 Turbinehead will cost less but it will not work as well on thicker carpeting or on pet hair pickup.

First of all the price was great especially with all the accessories included, and it shipped very quickly. I was thrilled to receive it and even more excited to find it came with an extra attachment that was not advertised, the Contact Head-- I don't know what to use it for but I'm sure I'll figure it out! This vacuum has a very powerful feel and nice wide cleaning path. The "edge suction" impresses me the most-- I have always used crevice tools to clean where the carpet meets the baseboards, but I don't need to with this vacuum! We have a Lab/Miniature German Shepard mix who sheds like CRAZY and I think I've finally found a vacuum that will help me conquer the fur.
