The DC28 is the best cleaning Dyson Vacuum and it will work well on any floor surface. With the new Airmuscle technology the DC28's clear head and brushbar automatically and precisely adjust to each surface to make sure it is at the ideal height. Other vacuums do not adjust and they will be either to close making it difficult to push the vacuum or they will be to high resulting in suction leaking from the sides. I received my DC28 Animal yesterday afternoon and I LOVE it. I had a Kirby for 13 years and vacuum regularly and the Dyson found so much the Kirby left behind. I love this site for the free shipping and free accessories...I received the allergy kit and the stiff brush all in the same box. Very pleased with Dyson and Max-Vacuum!

This is a EXCELLENT cleaner. I have cats and this works like a gem. I have another Dyson that I've had for 5 years. I use it downstairs and this upstairs. I HIGHLY recommend it.

This is an EXCELLENT cleaner. I have a herd of cats and it picks up everything. I have a 2 story home and have my old Dyson downstairs. The price was great and Dysons hold up well. This is an excellent investment.

After reading reviews on this thing from several places I thought once I got the vacuum it might clean on its own after plugging it in. It is not that amazing but it does have great suction it cleans as well or better than the Electrolux I used to own and was a lot cheaper also shipping from this site was great only took three days (Although didn’t expect the accessories I ordered to be put in the vacuum’s package). Not disappointed I made the purchase.

Excellent vacuum cleaner. It is easy to use and it really picks the dirt up. I like the way you empty the container. You don't have to worry about cleaning out a filter every time.

Does the ball make it easier to push then a vacuum with a ball( ie: DC25 vs DC28)
The Ball will make it easier to turn. While the DC28 is heavier than the DC25 it sill does not feel heavy when using it when compared to comparable vacuums. The DC28 does have a dead weight of 20 pounds when lifting it.
