The DC22 Motorhead features the Dyson digital motor for a long lasting vacuum. The motorized brushbar makes it easy to clean all floor types including thicker carpeting and you can turn the brushbar off via the fingertip controls right on the wand. The DC22 compacts and the hose wraps around the canister for a small storage profile. The DC22 has a five year warranty and a lifetime warranty on the filters.
Our recommendation: The DC22 Motorhead will work well on all floor types

The DC22 Turbinehead will cost less but it has an air driven floor tool that does not provide the same level of agitation.
