The Alen A375UV air purifier is easy to use and maintain. Designed with Smoke and Gas HEPA filtration and UV technology, this machine is 99% effective in a 400-800 square foot room for particle removal including dust, pollen, and pet dander. Two UV lights reduce the amount of bacteria in air and a carbon filter helps to remove the odors. The all-in-one filter is recommended to be changed every six months; by signing up for automatic renewal with ALEN you make your machine eligible for a lifetime warranty.

The front cover is removable and interchangeable. When the cover is removed the filter is exposed and replaceable. |

Included with your A357UV is the HEPA Plus all-in-one filter. The first layer is the removable and washable pre filter. Next are the HEPA and carbon areas for particle removal and odor removal. It is recommended that these filters are changed every 6 months. |

After removing the filters you will find the two UV bulbs that help kill and remove bacteria from the air. It is recommended that you change these bulbs annually. Behind these bulbs are filters that contains the Photo-Catalytic Oxidation technology, this filter does not require changing. Photo-Catalytic Oxidation technology reduces the levels of VOCs. The interaction of UV-C light and a permanent titanium dioxide (TiO2) grid serves as a photocatalyst to carry out hydrolysis (ie.to break water into hydrogen and oxygen). As TiO2 is exposed to UV light, it becomes increasingly hydrophilic; thus, it can be used reduce concentrations of airborne pollutants such as volatile organic compounds into harmless elements |
